Ayodele C. ONIKU, PhD, is a marketing and management consultant. Additionally, he is an expert in providing consultancy in Livestock breeding and genetics.
Dr Oniku is a graduate of Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. He also studied at the University of Lagos, Nigeria and the Royal Docks School of Business & Law, University of East London, UK.
Ayo Oniku is a seasoned trainer in the sales and marketing fields that covers practices such as market intelligence and research, salesman training & development, business representative training, client profiling, etc.
He was the Head of marketing of Oil & Gas haulaging with over 50 fleets of trucks under his portfolio to cover the entire country. Also, Ayo was the first Sales Officer for a British pig Genetics Company – JSR Genetics, with responsibility for opening the West African market operations for the company, and this brought huge revenue to the company in semen, artificial insemination services and pigs. Ayo later became the sole business agent for the company for the West African market.
In 2017 Ayo transferred his agency services in pig genetics to Genesus, Canada. The engagement has birthed many breeding projects in Nigeria, Ghana and Gambia. Ayo holds the position to date.
In the last fifteen years, Ayo Oniku has worked either as a sales agent, consultant or business representative for organisations like BigDutchman, Germany, Ms Schippers, Holland, Jersey Island Genetics, Jersey Island; and Anderson Livestock Solutions, UK in the capacities of sales agent, consultant and business representative.
